Playing Catch Up is My Middle Name

I’m spending part of today playing catch-up on my Project 52! This has been such a fun personal photography project for me for the past several years. Every week there is a theme and the goal is to take a photo that represents the theme. Sounds super easy, right? Well, in theory, yes! But of course, life is busy… I’m a mom to a super energetic five year old and a photographer here in the beautiful New Braunfels, Texas. Between balancing work and home life and trying to carve out time for taking creative photos for this project, well, it just doesn’t all get done all the time! If you’re a mom, you can certainly relate to the title of this post!

But that is ok. We shouldn’t try to do it all, all the time. It’s one of the things I’m working on… Focusing on ONE THING AT A TIME!

So here we go!

Week 19 - Macro

Up close, everything is beautiful.

Week 20 - May Flowers

My kindergartener made this beautiful painting of flowers for me at school! I told him I had to photograph it for this week’s theme because it was just perfect!
