Simply Beautiful

Some of my very favorite portrait sessions are those that involve the most minimal wardrobe and fanfare. There’s something classic and timeless when you take away all the extra everything and focus on just the subject. That stillness of a single moment, where you aren’t “doing” anything is just so beautiful to me.

When Jolene was in the studio for a session we made sure capture some portraits that weren’t so smiley, and had a more pensive or just hanging out feel.

And I’m so happy making these types of portraits! They stand the test of time and show your essence. What’s more beautiful than that?!
