Redefining Beautiful | A Portrait Experience for Women

As a photographer that specializes in photographing women, I feel called to highlight a demographic that often gets overlooked by the traditional beauty industry. And that is women 40 or over. To me this is just a travesty and needs immediate attention. Women in the second phase of life not only bring grace and beauty to the world, but also strength, wisdom a sense of self that’s less concerned with what others think.

And so - I’m doing a promotion for the studio that highlights the beauty of women and as a way to celebrate the badass-ery that is the woman 40 and over.

Redefining Beautiful is a portrait campaign to both celebrate and rewrite what it means to be a woman over 40. I am inviting women in their 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and beyond, to a unique portrait experience to celebrate the beauty, life and journey of women.

I’m photographing 40 women over the age of 40 for this portrait series, and YOU can be one of them!
