This beautiful family was in the studio recently and while Hays gave us a run for our money, it's just not possible for this kiddo to be anything short of adorable no matter what his mood.

That's the thing with little ones... I never expect them to cooperate. If they do and they're all smiles, perfect.

If they're not having it one bit, perfect. I'm patient.

It only takes a fraction of a second, literally 1/100th of a second (or less), to capture them. When you go into a photoshoot without expectations of how a kiddo "should" act, you get to capture them as they are.

Which is what every parent really wants, and what you'll treasure years from now when you look back at portraits.
