New Braunfels Tween Portraits

Do you remember what it felt like to be a tween?

I remember starting to feel self-conscious.

And being called names like “four eyes” didn’t do anything to help.

This age is tender and vulnerable.

That time from about 10 to 12 years old where you’re not a little kid anymore… but also not a teenager yet…

Self-esteem can really start to nose-dive.

I’ve seen the impact that a photoshoot experience has on this age (girl or boy), and let me tell you it make a big difference in how they see themselves.

Seeing your beauty reflected back to you in portraits is a reminder (at any age) that you are beautiful now, just as you are.

The confidence it brings makes such a huge difference in the lives of kids this age.

They can see themselves a little differently than before, and that feeling carries with them even after the photoshoot.

You know we take a million photos of babies and are always oohing and ahhing at their cuteness, but the tween years are often more overlooked…

Taking the time to have your tween’s portraits done is an intentional way to capture who they are now, and for them to see themselves differently.

This age and stage is so very fleeting.

You blink and they will be grown.

I would love to chat with you more to answer any questions you may have!

Or are you ready to book a session for you tween?
