This girl is fiercely herself. She is a light and a force in this world for sure and has been since day one. She is my niece and I adore her. And since she's ten years old, well, that's cause for a photoshoot if I ever heard of one!

Izzy planned the details of this entire photoshoot from what to wear, how she wanted to style it, and how she wanted to be photographed. Her mom and I just helped acquire the things she needed to make her ideas come to life!

Needless to say, this was a super fun session!! We made it a point to have some photos with her mom in the frame as well, and they'll both cherish them forever.

I have to say she knocked her photoshoot out of the park! I'm so proud of her and so thankful for the opportunity to be able to photograph her now. She is imaginative, creative, strong, curious, a voracious reader, thoughtful and she loves deeply. She's also beautiful inside and out, and I hope that she never loses sight of these qualities, for they'll lead her through anything that comes her way.

Watching her grow up has been a privilege and I cannot wait to see everything she becomes.

Izzy was such a good sport and was totally up for my suggestion to throw water at her for one of the swim portraits! She’s truly a professional and still had a smile on her face at the end of her photoshoot!
