Ballet Folklórico Portrait Session
While making sure you have family portraits is a must, I will always encourage you to document your children’s lives at every age and stage. We take a million photos of our little ones when they are brand new babies, and maybe at their first birthday, and then as the years go on, maybe their yearly school portrait or family photos from time to time. And all of a sudden they are a senior in high school and you’re scheduling senior portraits!
What a legacy and a gift to create beautiful portraits of them during those “in-between” years as well. To capture their unique character just as they are now. What lights them up? What are their interests? What are they really into and where do their talents lie?
Celebrate those seemingly little and day to day interests – what makes them, them.
Portraits taken today later become priceless heirlooms. The memories that come flooding back when you see photographs from the past… it’s something to relish.
Quin was in the studio to create a series of portraits to celebrate his experience over the years practicing and performing Ballet Folklórico in Austin. It was such an honor to photograph this young man and I just love this entire set!
