While I am not able to do any photoshoots at the moment, I want to take a moment and share a little bit about Erin Valkner Photography. Yes, my business is my name. This business I've created over many years is part of me. Whether I have a studio or not, I will always be a photographer. The tools or gear or location on hand do not truly matter.

What makes me the photographer I am is the way I see things. And how I share them with the world. I am a portrait and headshot photographer based in New Braunfels, Texas, offering magazine style photoshoots for everyday people, giving an experience to remember. My photoshoots are tailored to the individual sitting in front of my camera, and whether you choose to have make up and hair styled and wear fancy clothes or not, there is a transformation that happens when you take a portrait.

There is power in portraits. Seeing yourself through another's lens... the way your loved ones see you, without those perceived flaws. When you sit quietly in your own confident power, without the pressure to "be" anything other than who you are in the moment... That, my friends, is beautiful. That is what comes through as beautiful in a portrait. That is what I want each and every person to experience. I want everyone to see their beauty. Sometimes it's easy to forget that each of us is uniquely and beautifully made. That we are inherently perfect just as we are.

Sometimes we listen to the naysayers' messages that we are not enough. We lose our way and think we're unworthy, not beautiful.

It's my promise to you to create a space where you can relax and feel at ease. To enjoy and celebrate the moment. Whether you are 1 or 101, or somewhere in between. Life is beautiful and worth celebrating.
