I always encourage families to include grandparents and/or extended family if they are available.  It gives you so much variety in your final images plus your family will have beautiful portraits to cherish. 

A family portrait session should be a lot of fun!  I take an easy going approach and focus on engaging kiddos, working quickly before they lose interest.
