I’m so happy to share with you some of the portraits from my recent photo shoot in downtown New Braunfels.  The new mural on the plaza, El Legado De Nuestra Jornada – The Legacy of Our Journey, designed by MOSAIC Artist-in-Residence Alex Rubio, served as the backdrop for this shoot.  You can find out more about this beautiful mural here and here!   It illustrates a record of Hispanic heritage in the area from the late 1600’s to 1845. 

For those of you living in or near New Braunfels, you must check this mural out in person.  It’s absolutely beautiful and deserves to be seen in person to fully understand the scope of this piece.   

I really wanted to shoot this mural with a strong and beautiful woman, while it is still so new and pristine. I asked Victoria to be my subject for this shoot and am so glad schedules worked out.  You’ll see, her strength and beauty shine bright and compliment this beautiful piece of art perfectly.
