Family Fun Day!

My preschooler is a dinosaur fanatic.  Anyone who talks to him for more than a minute (sometimes less..) is likely to find this out, and probably learn a thing or two about dinosaurs as well!  He’s been studying dinosaurs for two and a half years, which is half his life, so he’s basically an expert at this point.

We try to feed this passion in every way possible.  He has a library of books on dinosaurs, and not the ones for little kids, we’re talking proper encyclopedias on dinos.  And he’s read them all, cover to cover, multiple times.  There is not a day at our house, or hour for that matter, that does not involve some talk of dinosaurs!

So when I found out the Witte Museum has dinos on display, we had to check it out!  This gem of a museum in San Antonio is just a hop, skip and a jump from our house in New Braunfels, and we had so much fun!

If you have an afternoon free, you should definitely spend it at the Witte

Deinosuchus.  Technically, this is not a dinosaur.  Little Man informed me that underwater creatures such as this were not dinosaurs, but marine reptiles.  So now you know!

We did also check out the rest of the museum too, and it was all amazing!
