11/52 | This week’s theme for my personal photography project is “Golden”.

Golden: radiantly youthful and vigorous; having talents that promise great success; highly favored – as defined by merriam-webster.com.

This kid.  Never in my wildest of dreams did I ever imagine having a son would be this joyful.  I can’t even begin to describe the love in my heart for this boy. 

Every day that I am witness to my son’s being, I’m humbled by the enormity of his spirit.  He’s more than I could ever have imagined…  His strength and energy have always been abundant, and it’s my hope that he always remembers that he can tap into it at any time and call it forth.  In a lot of ways, he’s the exact opposite of me…outgoing, daring, unrestrained… but really, it’s just that his spirit is uninhibited.  He hasn’t “learned” to censor himself, as most of us do at some point along the way.  It’s all I can do to keep up with him, but I’ll never stop trying…
