When was the last time you had photos printed?

These days just about everyone has a camera on them at all times (your phone).  We take more photos than probably ever before in the history of cameras, but the vast majority are not being printed.  And it’s no secret that we live in an age where technology advances faster than most of us (well, me at least) can keep our electronics/devices up to date!

So what will happen to the photos of your baby’s childhood when the technology they’re stored on is no longer used?  Or you lose or break your phone… The devastating answer is, they will not exist.  If you are not printing your family’s photos now, the odds of you going through years of images and having prints made is close to nil.  I urge you to print your photos!!

I just read this article, and was so sad to learn that a nationwide survey done in 2015, found that 67% of those surveyed store their photos solely in digital form on a computer or form, nearly 70% no longer have photo albums, and 53% haven’t printed a single photo in the last 12 months or longer. 

That’s where I come in.  Every photo session with me will give you printed photos.  I want everyone to have beautiful portraits that they can actually physically hold and share with family and loved ones. 

I’d also love to help you come up with a plan to turn your family’s digital photos into prints and/or albums.  It’s can be daunting to sort through so many images and get organized, but I LOVE doing it and would be more than happy to help you! 

Create a legacy for your family.  A legacy of beautiful portraits that your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and beyond will cherish from generation to generation to come.  I am lucky to have so many photos of my family on both sides.  These images are some that my paternal grandmother gifted me of our family as far back as five generations.  Portraits are priceless.  I can actually see my ancestors faces… It’s amazing!
