Before You Can Blink, It Seems They're All Grown Up…

3/52 {Documentary | Lifestyle}

This week’s theme for my personal photography project is “Lifestyle” or “Documentary”.  Now I love, love, love working in a studio setting and the quiet stillness that can be created in portraits, but I also adore photographing children in action, in their natural habitats!  Running around and playing with kiddos allows you a glimpse into their imagination and I don’t know if there’s anything better than capturing their big genuine smiles and laughs.

That’s the magic of play.  You get to bear witness to a child’s spirit and everything around you just kind of melts away.  It’s pure bliss and it shows in their faces.

I urge you to have portraits of your children taken often, if not every year, so that you can have a legacy of photographs for them as they grow.  Before you can blink, it seems that they are all grown up… Let’s capture some of their childhood, so you can always remember them as they are now.
