Christy | Motherhood Looks Beautiful on You

I recently had the honor of photographing this lovely and endearing soul.  She is a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and my friend.  In the years since we last saw each other, she has made herself a beautiful family, and finally getting to meet her husband and kiddos was such a delight! 

I absolutely love black and white portraits, and I’m working on some ideas for a black and white series that I’ve been wanting to do for a while now.  (Stay tuned for details if you’d like to sit for a black and white portrait!)

This is Christy.  I love that she chose to be photographed with a headscarf, as she practices head covering as part of her religious beliefs.  Beautiful. 

Oh yes, I also managed to have her husband Nathan sit for me as well!
